There is no bigger compliment for us than when we get praise from our customers. It makes all the hard work and time we put into the quality of our meat worthwhile. Here's what some of our customers have had to say:
Hi, I'd just like to say a huge thank you for the beautiful meat we purchased from the farm shop earlier this week. My family and I have been across for a short break in Yorkshire this week and visited Scarborough on Tuesday. On our way into the town we noticed your farm and being keen supporters of excellent local produce we decided to stop by on our way back. We had a good chat with the butcher and decided on the £10 meat pack which included 2 lamb kebabs, 2 sausages, 2 burgers and 2 Shorthorn rump steaks. We also purchased a goose egg - the first time I have tried one of these! I can honestly say that everything we purchased was up there with the very finest locally sourced produce we have ever tasted before - absolutely delicious, thank you!
We visited here to see the new born lambs and had tea and gateau in a tearoom with a wonderful view over the valley. We arrived at 2.45 and we're unaware that the cafe closed at 3p.m. But it did not deter them from making us most welcome and we were not hurried at all. The added bonus of the new lambs and their mums gambolling outside the tea-rooms was just the icing on the cake. Next time, we'll arrive a lot earlier and spend more time looking around the farm, at the "sheep-pigs." And the other animals. Well done for making us feel so at home.
We stopped for a light lunch this afternoon. Everything was cooked to order. I had the soup and eggs benedict and my wife just had a toasted cheese and tomato relish sandwich. My soup was distinctly home made and tasted brilliant and my eggs benedict made me promise myself that I must cook it more often at home. The egg yoke was runny and hollandaise sauce was perfect. My wife said that the toasted sandwich was one of the best she'd tasted.
Hey you have a beautiful farm & all your staff are so friendly, thought I would post the photos I took today while collecting our yummy meat keep doing what your doing
