Lamb

All our lamb is produced at Stepney Hill farm; it takes years of skill and judgment to produce great tasting lamb.

We have around 400 breeding ewes at any one time on the farm with different breeds of sheep we can produce the right lambs for your personal preferences. Texel X and Swale dales are the main breading ewes; The Rams are Texel to produce good strong lambs.

The ewes have their lambs in the spring in the barns at Stepney Hill Farm where we can take care of there every need. After 1 week of been born they are back out on the rich grasses in their natural environment.

The lush grass and clover pastures around North Yorkshire provide perfect conditions to produce the very finest lamb in the world.

We personally select all of our lamb, when it comes to choosing the lambs we look for what we call conformation the right shape, age and just the right amount of fat covering for succulence and flavour.
